The DPP is not only a hot topic in Europe: Thomas L. Rödding was invited to speak at Techsauce in Bangkok.
Narravero-CEO Thomas L. Rödding was invited to Southeast Asia's leading technology event, the Techsauce Global Summit 2024 in Bangkok, held in early August, to speak about the requirements and opportunities of digital product passports. His topic was: The Digital Product Passport as an Economic and Environmental Game Changer: Its Importance for the European Market – and the World.
Thomas highlighted not only the DPP regulations that will soon apply to supply chains between Asia and the EU, but also the significant benefits for sustainability and the competitive advantages that DPP users can leverage in communicating with their customers.
In addition to his main stage presentation – translated into English, Thai, and Chinese – Thomas also participated as a panellist on the Climate-Tech stage. The topic: Empowering the New Generation in the Fight Against Climate Change. Alongside Atchara Poomee from PAC Corporation and Nutthapon Rathie from the United Nations, Thomas discussed how DPPs can drive sustainability and support the circular economy, ultimately helping to protect our planet.
Marc Buckley also made an impactful appearance at Techsauce as both a speaker and a source of inspiration. The world-renowned environmental activist (and, we are proud to say, Narravero advisory board member!) captivated the audience with his keynote speech: The Transition Generation in the Midst of the Technology Supercycle.
There was also plenty of activity at the Narravero booth. Thomas engaged with visitors from Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, and the USA, discussing the DPP and addressing their questions, expectations, and perspectives.
One thing is clear: international interest in the DPP is growing rapidly. Interacting with audiences from across Asia has provided valuable insights into how best to convey the benefits of the DPP for global supply chains. It also confirms Narravero’s approach of integrating digital product passports with AI to make complex supply chain data and customer experiences more relevant and accessible to diverse audiences.
